This is one of two pieces that will be entered into the Show this coming June. This one is more different and risky, as you can see. It's a neat concept, I feel, and it's got a lot of things going for it. The templates/Stencils I used decided that they just didn't want to not be more organic, so it came out a little differently then the last one. That is the joy of this, though.

So, today I was talking about Action Lines with one of my friends kids... and basically how you build your character along your action line. It's not that I expect it to really sink into her, just yet, but I wanted to expose her to the idea so that when she is ready, she'll use it... So in anycase, this is what I ended up to demonstrate how you put your chest and your hips along the action line and build out from there, and I know he's kinda a stoic little guy, but I like my dinosaurs a little big eyed and soft looking. And he couldn't be just a dinosaur really... he was suppose to be a dragon... but I just like Dinosuars, really. In anycase, I thought it was sweet enough to share with all of you. :D

If you have seen Koi 3, then you know that that was more of a warm up exercise in prep of this one. I want to apologize for the seem, but it's hard to get these oversized painting into a scanner nowdays. When this is finished, it will end up occupying a space about 12X48! It's going to be exciting!
